Opening Times

Our school gates open at 8.30am (and are locked at 8.50am). The children are welcome to come into school at 8.40am to organise themselves for the day and begin their early morning tasks. We ask that children do not arrive at school before 8.30am. 

We expect all children to be working at 8.50am; please ensure your child arrives on time so that they don’t miss essential learning. Children who arrive later than 8:50am will be marked late.  If children are regularly late, they will be issued with an unauthorised late mark as detailed in our attendance policy. If your child is sick, please ring the office BEFORE 8.50am so we know they are safe.

Morning Session 8.50am - 12.00noon

Morning Break 10.30am - 10.45am

Afternoon Session 1pm - 3.10pm

School gates reopen at 3pm for children to be collected from 3:10pm. The gates will be closed at 3:20pm. Any children who have not been collected by 3:20pm will be taken to the school office where a member of the office staff will call their parent or guardian. 

The total time in a typical school week is approximately 32.5 hours.
