Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

The Chalk Ridge Primary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA) plays a very important role in the life of our school.

Our primary aim is to advance the education of pupils in the school.

We do this by;

  • Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.
  • Engaging in activities or providing facilities and/or equipment which support the school and advance the education of its children.

We organise various events throughout the school year for the benefit of both parents and pupils.

  • School Discos
  • Christmas Fayres

The Association has charitable status which helps with our fund-raising activity. We are always looking for new parents and carers who can help us with our work.  This could be by becoming a committee member or in setting-up, running a stall or just packing away after an event. We hold an Annual General Meeting each year in September. If you are interested in getting involved please speak to the school Admin Office team on 01256 461733 in the first instance who can put you in touch with the Chair of the PTA who can answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to meeting you.
